Help Avalon Hospice to honor our military veterans who are on hospice care. They have served and given so much of themselves for our freedom and now they need someone who will give of their time, companionship, and or talents. Many of our veterans live in nursing homes which makes it convenient to spend time with more than one each visit. If you have a heart for those who have served, please join our Volunteer team as we organize visits and take care of those who have taken care of our blessed United States.

Mission Statement

We are committed to and believe the patient is entitled to be as free of pain and symptoms as possible, and to live his or her life in a comfortable and compassionate environment.

Description

When someone is faced with a life-limiting illness, they have special needs. We understand that and personalize our care to help meet those needs during what is a very trying emotional time. We help the patient and family navigate the difficult landscape of end-of-life care. Ours is a body, mind and soul approach . We are here for them, when life matters the most.

Each patient is assigned an interdisciplinary team of caregivers, dedicated to helping patients and their families share time together in the warmth, comfort and privacy of their own homes.
