Volunteering at our Clarksville PetSmart adoption center is a lot like helping at our shelter, except you'll mainly be caring for kittens rather than adults.

Duties include cleaning cages and shared center areas, replenishing food and water and simply socializing and spending time with the kitties. You may also help provide photos and videos of our kitties for social media.

During COVID, visitors are not allowed into the adoption center without an approved application. A member of the Adoptions Team will be there to meet the potential adopters.


Volunteer shifts are 2-4 hours long depending on availability and run 1-5 p.m. Saturdays through Wednesday, and 2-6 p.m. Thursdays and Fridays.

  • 01:00 PM to 05:00 PM
    1 - 5 p.m. the third Saturday of the month.
  • 01:00 PM to 05:00 PM
    1 - 5 p.m. the fifth Saturdays of the month.
  • 01:00 PM to 05:00 PM
    Every Friday
