Have you ever considered becoming a Hospice volunteer? Volunteers provide a critical support for our day-to-day work while changing lives and truly making a difference in our community. Whether spending time with patients, helping in the office, sewing Celebration Bears, or visiting with a fellow veteran, volunteers are an essential part of the Hospice team. all of our volunteers have one thing in common: a desire to help others and give back.
We provide training to all volunteers to help ensure you feel prepared and confident. Our volunteer training includes topics required by Medicare, covers the philosophy of Hospice of the Red River Valley, the end-of-life process, grief, and more.

Hospice care is intensive comfort care for those with life-limiting, serious illnesses who have chosen to stop of go without curative treatments. Hospice relieves pain and symptoms while attending to an individual's physical, personal, emotional, and spiritual needs. Choosing hospice means taking control of your care and making the most of every day. We provide expert pain and symptom management, in addition to a team of sensitive, compassionate, and skillful staff. Hospice of the Red River Valley is a non-profit that provides services in 33 area counties in ND and MN.
