As a Hospice volunteer you can donate as much or as little time as you desire. The duties vary so you can find an area of service that is uniquely suited for you. Some ways to help are:
Patient companionship
Caregiver relief
Pet Visits
Life Review and documentation
Art Therapy
Aroma Therapy
Massage Therapy
Beautician services
Administrative Support
Grief Support
Patients reside in their own homes as well as in Assisted Living facilities and Nursing Homes. We service Saginaw, Bay, Midland, Tuscola, Sanilac, Huron, Gratiot, Isabella, Clare and Gladwin counties.

Description
Hospice is a philosophy of care with the primary focus of maintaining and enhancing the quality of life for people with life limiting illness choosing to discontinue aggressive treatments. Patients who chose Hospice are not "giving up", they are simply making a choice on how they want to live out their lives. We provide specialized services to support patients and their families with end-of-life issues including pain control, symptom management, respite, grief counseling and bereavement support.
A&D Hospice is owned and managed by a registered nurse with over 30 years of professional service to the community.
