LaRay Productions Presents
"Behind Closed Doors"
An Original Stage Production Inspired by Actual Events
LaRay Productions is in search of volunteers for the following positions within our Production Crew:
Box Office Associate (21 years or older...will be taking tickets, checking patrons in, etc)
Box Office Junior Associate (High School Student...15-17 years...will assist Box Office Associate
Concession Stand Associate (21 years or older...will manage transactions via cash, card, etc)
Concession Stand Junior Associate (High School student...15-17 years...will assist Concession Stand Associate with restocking inventory for sale)
Makeup Artist (18 years or older...will be assisting with the application of makeup)
Wardrobe/Costume (18 years or older...will be assisting the cast with wardrobe changes, etc)
Vendor Assistant (21 years or older...will be assisting Vendors with setup/break down, etc)
Usher (High School student...15-17 years old...will guide patrons to seat, etc)
Usher (18 years or older...will guide patrons to their seats, etc)
Stage Setup (High School student...15-17 years old...will assist with setting up and breaking down set, moving furniture, etc)

2-11pm (scheduled in shifts, according to positions)
Dress Code: All black, comfortable shoes

Mission Statement
The mission of Valuable Blessings, Inc. Nonprofit Organization is to intervene and counsel at-risk, off-track, economically disadvantaged youth populations with a variety of services, including mentoring, cultural awareness, cooking classes and academic enrichment. We seek to overcome what has become a major obstacle to organizations and social service agencies that provide services to these individuals by creating an organizational paradigm that eradicates the negative attitudes and low-self esteem that permeate the minds of so many of these at-risk youth.
Description
Valuable Blessings, Inc., a tax-exempt 501 (c)(3) nonprofit organization based in Prince George's County, Maryland, has implemented a new grassroots cooking, tutorial and mentoring program targeted toward at-risk and underachieving youth in Capitol Heights and District Heights, Maryland. Valuable Blessings, Inc. is a faith-based community-based organization that is dedicated to working with other community-based organizations and educational institutions in an effort to improve the academic performance, cultural awareness and life skills of students throughout Prince George's County, Maryland.
