On March 28th, the Arizona Burn Foundation is partnering with the Phoenix Fire Department to educate the community, reduce the risk of house fires, and save lives! With your help, we are installing free smoke alarms in low-income homes located in high-risk communities. Below is the information:
Date: Saturday, March 28, 2020
Time: 7:30am - 12:00pm
Meeting location: Starlight Park Elementary School: 7960 W Osborn Rd, Phoenix, AZ 85033
We hope to reach 400 homes with this event, so we need volunteers to help make this happen! We will provide all the necessary tools and training beforehand in order to do the installs. This is a great event that helps communities in need while potentially saves lives. It is also a great way to meet and network with others that truly care about giving back!
Volunteers can sign up at https://azburn.org/smokealarms/. After that, you simply click on the "Volunteers Needed" button. Find and click on the event on the calendar. If you are a new volunteer, simply create an account and RSVP.
If you need more information or have any questions, please don't hesitate to reach out!
