Come help us celebrate the Snacks With Santa program for youth ages 1 - 12 years old. Join us for a fun filled morning of games, activities, arts & crafts and so much more!

Volunteer Duties:
You will be assigned to a game, activity, craft, and/or a food experience area when you arrive. Duties will include setting-up and supervising activities, games, and arts and crafts for participants, handing out prizes, and talking with children and parents. If you have a special interest, please let us know and we will try to match you up accordingly. You may also help with refreshments, as well as breaking down of all the games and equipment.

Impact:
This is a one-day special event for youth ages 12 and under. Volunteers will help with set-up/breakdown of event and will help instruct/supervise a variety of themed holiday themed activities, games, craft projects, and food experience project. Volunteers may also serve snacks to the participants during the program.

Work Environment:
The work environment can be loud, mildly physical, and will be indoors.

Volunteer Requirements:
The minimum age requirement is 14 years old. A welcome and walk through will be held an hour before the event starts to give all volunteers a safety plan in case of an emergency. All volunteers must complete a release form. Those under the age of 18 will need a parent/guardian signature.

Special Instructions:
We will send out additional information the Thursday before the event starts. More information will be giving on what to wear, parking, and other items.

Registration as a volunteer is first come, first served. If interested in registering a group, please email rachel.vannnoordt@raleighnc.gov . We require a list of names and their email addresses to hold spots for groups.

Per department policy this event cannot count towards court-appointed or suggested community service hours.
