We are seeking volunteers to improve our kitchen and dietary services area at Redwood School & Rehabilitation. This project will include cleaning and sanitizing kitchen equipment, put up a fresh coat of paint on our cafeteria walls, sanitizing tables and chairs, and more. This project will help educate our project participants about the different ways individuals with disabilities receive their nutrition, including assistive technology tools that our clients use for feeding. This service project is appropriate for all ages and abilities, and families are encouraged to participate!
Through this project, Redwood clients, staff and community supporters will benefit from the use of the improved cafeteria and our dietary services.

Description
Redwood is a nonresidential day facility that provides 25 enriching programs in Educational Care, Adult Day Supports, Integrated Therapy, Vocational Day Training, and Prescribed Pediatric Extended Care to over 800 children and adults facing some of life's great challenges.
At Redwood, individuals with severe and multiple disabiliities are taught to focus on their abilities, not their disabilities.
