Got some extra time off around the holidays?
Spend your day in a meaningful way by helping to deliver groceries to seniors through Help At Your Door! Volunteers will pick up orders from our grocery partner in Oakdale, and spend an hour or two delivering to clients. Volunteers do not do the shopping and will not need to handle any payment information.
Grocery pick-ups are scheduled for Wednesday morning at 9:30 a.m. with an (approximate) two hour time commitment. Physical ability to regularly lift and carry bags or totes of groceries is required, and a larger vehicle (SUV or truck) is helpful but not required.
Volunteers will need to apply and complete a background check, and meet for a short orientation and training prior to December 26th.
