As a hospice volunteer you can choose from a number of different job duties. We have the opportunity for volunteers to work in the office gaining experience and helping provide administrative support. Come and be a part of the Tuck-in Call Weekend Program and contact our patients/caregivers to make sure they have supplies and medications. One of the best ways to give support for those who are in hospice is to become a Direct Care Volunteer. Direct Care Volunteers provide companionship to patients and caregivers by being by their side during this delicate time period. Be by the side of a dying patient so they do not die alone and become a trained Vigil Volunteer. The possibilities are endless for volunteers here at Kindred Hospice.
