Western Youth Services (WYS) is the leading expert in mental health and wellness services, providing a comprehensive range of programs that empower children, families and communities to succeed.

Our annual Toy Drive occurs November-December and if you're interested in helping us with the event please let us know! We have various needs for this event that we would greatly appreciate if you could assist us with.

1.) The first type of volunteer we need are tasked with gathering toys for the children. Toys were gathered with a collection box, but because of COVID risks you can create any system you deem necessary for this task. As the donated toys increase they are sent to one of our storage units. How you collect toys is up to you. (either it be flyers, hosting a box, social media, ect.)

2.) The second type of volunteer needed are people to separate and organize the different types of toys. Toys are stored in our storage unit and volunteers would go in and divide them. The amount of volunteers needed for this task would depend on the volume of toys. (Social distancing procedures are enacted with any in-person volunteering.)

3.)Lastly we need volunteers to deliver toys to our different sites. Western Youth Services encompasses clinics and schools throughout Orange County. Personal vehicles are needed for this task in taking bags of toys to the children. Please note: Volunteers must be over 25yrs old to drive their own vehicles and drop off toys.

For more information on any of the above opportunities please, contact Jay Epperson at Jason.Epperson@wysoc.org
