Cutting Back Weeds

Join NYC Parks Stewardship as we celebrate the legacy of Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.! MLK Day is a nationally observed day of service where people all over the country come together to volunteer and improve their communities. Join us on January 20th as volunteers work Citywide to make parks greener, cleaner, and healthier environments for all to enjoy! Volunteers will learn how to identify and safely remove invasive plants at Forest Park in order to help create a healthier ecosystem. Come dressed in clothes that can get dirty, warm layers, durable boots or sneakers, and bring a water bottle.
