New Year-Round Respite Program Schedule January - March Trips are Now Open to Volunteer!

Camping Unlimited offers Year-Round Programs for children and adults with disabilities and we have many great programs that volunteers will love! We are excited to announce or very special event for the weekend of December 13-15. Our Staff and Volunteers, will host a warm and welcoming "Happy New Year's Weekend Event for our "Campers" who may have symptoms of Autism, Down Syndrome, Cerebral Palsy and other challenges. This exciting event will be held at our beautiful Camp Krem in the Santa Cruz Mountains. Together, we will enjoy music, create New Year's decorations with arts and crafts, go hiking if weather permits, play games and watch our future STARS at our famous talent show! For this event, and all other year-round programs, Camping Unlimited will provide bus transportation with pickup locations in Oakland and in Campbell.

Volunteering for Camping Unlimited’s Summer and Year-round Programs offer great rewards, but assisting and guiding children and adults with disabilities is challenging work. Under the supervision of our program directors, as schedules permit, volunteers monitor the safety of our campers and help them with personal care. Camping Unlimited is entrusted with the care of children, therefore all volunteers interested in interacting with our campers must submit to a criminal background check.

Serving as Volunteer Counselor is great experience for those interested in careers in education, medicine, therapies, recreation and more.

If you are interested in other year-round events, please see our weekend CALENDAR at www.campingunlimited.org.

To Apply: Please visit "Volunteer Opportunities" at https://campingunlimited.org/volunteer-opportunities or send us an email through Volunteer Match.

We hope to hear from you!

Thank you,

Staff of Camping Unlimited
