Each year, Stamford Public Schools students across many grade levels participate in Odyssey of the Mind, a world-wide creative problem solving competition. Problems might include developing a vehicle, preparing a performance incorporating a technical component or mythology, or building a structure. In preparation for State and World competitions, several scrimmages are held over the winter culminating in this March 7 Odyssey of the Mind Showcase.
We seek support from 10-12 community volunteers (per shift) to help with event logistics, including activities such as helping teams with check-in, load-in and load-out of sets, distributing programs to guests, ushering/holding doors, etc.
When submitting your inquiry, please indicate your shift preference:
- Morning: 8:00 am - 11:30 pm
- Afternoon: 11:00 pm - 2:30 pm
- You can also stay for both!
This is a great team activity; invite your friends to volunteer with you and enjoy watching the students perform and share their hard work.
