Do you enjoy driving? Do you enjoy meeting new people? Do you want a flexible volunteer schedule? If so, the Falmouth Senior Center needs your help! We are looking for Volunteer Drivers to provide rides to medical appointments for seniors who have no other means of transportation.
As a Volunteer Driver, you will use your own vehicle to provide seniors with transportation both to and from their medical appointment. The time commitment for Volunteer Drivers is flexible-- you will be notified when transportation is needed, but you only sign up to provide rides at times and to locations that are convenient for you. Transportation may be needed for appointments within Falmouth or as far away as Plymouth or Yarmouth, Monday through Friday between 8:00 AM and 4:00 PM.

Mission Statement
The mission of the Falmouth Council on Aging Senior Center is to advocate on behalf of all residents of Falmouth who are at least 60 years old in addressing their needs by identifying and developing resources of assistance, provide information, referrals to other community agencies, outreach, health services, transportation, education and recreation programs and activities. There is a special emphasis in promoting healthy aging and enhancing quality of life.

The Senior Center functions as a prominent resource hub and focal point for social and support services serving as a gateway to the nations aging network - connecting older adults, families and caregivers to vital community services.
