Gemini's Pampered Greyhounds is an adoption group that focuses on placing retired racing Greyhounds in forever homes and educating the community about this wonderful breed.
We are looking for a responsible, long-term volunteer or two to help us with some of our online fundraising activities, including eBay sales, auctions, Facebook and Craigslist sales. Volunteers must have experience with the various aspects of online sales from start to finish, including photographing items, research to appropriately price items, maintaining spreadsheets, contacting buyers, packaging and shipping. Volunteers will also work on contacting businesses, organizations, and individuals for donations to the group for auction.
We ask that our volunteers commit to a minimum of 2-3 hours a week on a long term basis. We often receive student volunteers from the local colleges, so we can accommodate a wide range of scheduling needs, including possibly working from home after gaining an appropriate amount of experience.

Mission Statement
It is Gemini's Pampered Greyhounds' Mission to promote greyhound adoption by finding responsible, loving, appropriate homes for greyhounds that fail to qualify for racing, regardless of their age and health condition. GPG will arrange for and provide all necessary medical care, including ensuring all greyhounds/retired racers are spayed/neutered before they are adopted and will gradually transition greyhounds from their racing career to retirement and placement into a forever home. GPG will arrange temporary volunteer (foster) homes for greyhounds while they are waiting for their adoption by forever homes/families. Furthermore, it is GPG's mission to provide retired racers with socialization and training to prepare them for adoption. In addition to the care and adoption of the greyhounds, it is GPG's mission to assist, instruct, and educate the public and adoptive families about the greyhound breed, responsible pet ownership, and overall care, treatment, and training of greyhounds.

Gemini's Pampered Greyhounds, Inc. (GPG), is a 501c(3) non-profit Greyhound adoption group, based in Amherst MA. It is GPG's Mission to promote Greyhound adoption by finding responsible, loving, appropriate homes for retired racing greyhounds. Our aim is to raise public awareness about greyhounds by giving the public an opportunity to meet others who have adopted greyhounds, to learn more about the breed, and to find out what wonderful companions and furkids this breed becomes when they retire from their racing career.
