This rescue helps young kitties that have the highest risk of not getting out of shelters. There are both cats and kittens. Sometimes it could be a pregnant mom or a mom with her young babies. Hazel who runs this rescue saves as many of these kitties as she can from all over the Bay Area. She really relies on the wonderful help from the amazing fosters. These kitties just need a small space to have to rest, eat, and play. Some of these kitties need some extra TLC to become more socialized. It is so rewarding to know these kitties that are so well taken care of go to an amazing forever home.

Furrever Cat & Kitten Rescue is non-profit 501(c)3 organization, located in the Los Gatos/San Jose area. Our mission is to save at-risk shelter kittens, foster and place them into loving homes.
Description
Hazel Burton has been rescuing cats and kittens for over 30 years. She started on Maui working for a wildlife refuge fostering all kinds of animals where she pe rsonally trapped, spayed/neutered over 70 feral cats and returned them to their outdoor homes. Hazel also socialized and adopted out all of their offspring. Hazel has been working with non-profit rescue agencies here in Santa Clara county for the past 6 years and now has branched out on her own and created Furrever Cat and Kitten Rescue so that she can bring to this county what she did in Maui. With help of a network of supporters including a network of 32 foster homes, Hazel has rescued over 783 cats for the past six years.
