Hey there cat lovers! Would you like an opportunity to help cats live in a special environment where people can meet them on their terms and adopt them into furr-ever homes! We have just the opportunity for you! The Caturday Lounge in Brea is looking for volunteers to clean Tuesdays - Fridays. We ask you to volunteer for ONE shift but to keep that day on a weekly basis for a minimum 6-month commitment. The Lounge is 2800 square feet and we want to keep it as clean and neat as possible for the cats and for the visitors. Duties will consist of the following:
1st hour: Cat Lounge area - sweeping, dust mopping, remove fur from furniture, clean cat trees, scoop litterboxes, wipe down tables and chairs, tidy up bathrooms, wipe down glass and acrylic surfaces, sanitize door handles, dust baseboards and wall crevices.
2nd hour: Repeat the above around the front desk area.
This is a great opportunity for people that love cats, but maybe can't have one of their own. You will definitely be interacting with all of our adoptable cats while you are cleaning in the lounge area.
We need help as soon as possible, so if you have one free morning a week, give us a meow!
