Meet Dave! He's a hard-working guy who loves superhero comic books, superhero movies, and is a big Cleveland sports fan! He'd love to hang out with a buddy at an Indians, Cavs, or Browns game, or maybe grab a bite to eat at Applebee's, Golden Corral, or Denny's.
He's also interested in going to video game arcades, swimming and working out, and going to amusement parks or water parks.
We all want a chance to learn and grow, have fun and share our talents with others. People with developmental disabilities share our enjoyment of these activities just like you. Unfortunately, transportation can be a barrier to getting out and having fun. Provide companionship and a ride - a willing combination!
Go shopping or attend a concert or sporting event. Visit and talk about life at a nearby coffee shop. Each person pays their own way. Scheduling is flexible and low-commitment - just one outing per month for a one-year commitment.
