We need volunteers at Second ACT Thrift Store to lend a helping hand!
Volunteer duties include sorting donations in the warehouse, straightening and displaying items, removing empty hangers, clearing out the dressing rooms, light housekeeping, putting out merchandise/clothing, and some customer service. The dress code is casual; closed toed comfortable shoes, no tank tops or short-shorts. We ask that you volunteer at least 4 hours at a time. Please remember to sign in and out for each shift that you volunteer.
As you may know, Second ACT funds the free services that we provide to survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, and human trafficking. Community members donate gently used items and we sell them to the public to generate funds. Our program participants are also able to get items they need from the thrift store at no cost to them. By volunteering at Second ACT, you are making a profound difference for survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault and human trafficking in our community, and we sincerely appreciate your support.
If you have any questions or would like more information about this opportunity, please contact Madison Kilgore, Volunteer Engagement and Community Education Associate, at mkilgore@actabuse.com
To volunteer, please call or stop by Second ACT Thrift Store to be scheduled.
