Volunteers do an abundance of household type chores including washing dishes, sweeping, mopping, and laundry. In addition to daily chores, volunteers that are consistent are given the opportunity to learn the necessary skills to enable them to feed baby birds and mammals. Assisting with the care of our injured and orphaned wildlife by helping with diet preparation, general clean-up and cleaning cages.

Monday through Saturday 8am - 12pm or 1pm - 5pm
Sunday 8am - 12pm

  • Orientation or Training
  • One weekly 4 hour shift for 3 months
  • Volunteers are requested to join the Busch Wildlife Sanctuary as a paid member and purchase their own volunteer shirts. Upon starting volunteers are required to pay a onetime, non-refundable due of $35.
