Mission Statement

Description
The Savannah Area council of Garden Clubs started our 10 acre garden in 1991. We are the only garden in the midtown area of Savannah. In 1992 the Historic Reinhard Farmhouse was moved to the site to become our headquarters. Our Garden is made up of many areas. Directly behind the Farmhouse we have our Cottage Garden, vegetable, herb and perennial gardens. You then walk into our Rose Garden. Across a small bridge is the Daylily Garden and Native plant Garden. This all faces our wedding pavilion. We also have a sweet Children's Garden and in the front of our property is our Camellia and Azalea Garden. We are part of then American Camellia trail. Our goal is to keep this beautiful garden free and open to the public. We host weddings and small events to pay our expenses. We work with the Coastal Master Gardeners. We also have a large horticultural library which is open to the public.
