Our Boutique Associate is responsible for opening, running, and closing the boutique on scheduled days. Money handling or retail experience is not necessary, however it is encouraged. An associate must warmly greet and educate customers that come into Dress for Success Albuquerque about donating, volunteering, obtaining services, and more. A friendly demeanor is a must in this role. A Boutique Associate will also help with boutique maintenance. This maintenance includes assimilating items into the boutique, housekeeping, and ensuring that the appearance of our boutique is at the level of well-kept department store. This role is instrumental to the program as we continue to grow as an affiliate and open the boutique for longer hours or more days. You will have the opportunity to grow with us! As of now we are open on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays between 2:00pm and 6:00pm. We are flexible to create a schedule that works for everyone involved! So whether you're able to commit one day a month or multiple a week, together we will create the perfect fit.

NOTE: due to the Corona Virus outbreak we are currently requiring masks be worn in the boutique at all times. Boutique Associate is responsible for frequent sanitization of boutique as well as enforcing mask policy and social distancing.

The mission of Dress for Success is to empower women to achieve economic independence by providing a network of support, professional attire and the development tools to help women thrive in work and in life.
The women we serve: Are primarily single mothers (70%), raising an average of 2-3 children, are representative of all ethnicities and races, range in age from 18-60 and lived under the poverty level prior to receiving Dress for Success’s services. How we work: Dress for Success provides each woman with a business suit when she has a job interview. She returns to Dress for Success for up to one week’s worth of business-appropriate attire. She then receives an invitation to join our career development and networking group and opportunities to participate in other employment retention programs. Dress for Success serves job-ready women by referral only from more than 3,000 non-profit organizations including domestic violence agencies, homeless shelters and job-training programs.
