We are in need of a Shopper on Monday's from 11:30-4:00. If you are unable to volunteer the entire shift, we can set a schedule for any part of that time. We prefer someone volunteer on a regular basis, but short term opportunities are available.

Reports to: Operations Manager

Type: Other shifts are available
Thursdays (9:30am -2pm)
Saturdays (9:30am - 2pm

General Statement of Duties

The shopper is responsible for escorting food pantry clients through the food pantry and informs clients of the amount of product they may remove from pantry shelves.

In addition, shoppers verify outgoing poundage by weighing the client's shopping cart.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Must be at least 16
  • Orientation or Training
  • 4.5 -18 hours a week. That is, one Monday or more a month.
  • You must wear closed -toe shoes. We need someone who will commit and show up as scheduled, or notify the Operations Manager when unable to do so.
