Refugee Grant Management Support

Save to Favorites

ORGANIZATION: Utah Refugee Center

The Refugee Education and Training Center is looking for a dedicated volunteer to teach a four part grant management series! Although ideally we would love to work with one or two volunteers for the entire series of 4 training, if you have particular expertise or interest in only one, your help will still be enormously appreciated!

The Refugee Education and Training Center gives annual grants to Refugee Community Based Organizations (RCBOs) who provide training, events, and classes for their own communities. This empowering grant builds their capacity over the course of three Levels, until they finally are granted 501(c)3 status and operate completely independent of our Center's support. Until then- we provide training for them such as this Grant Management Series!

We hope to hold one training per month, focusing on:
1) Managing Organizational Partnerships
2) Managing & Recruiting Volunteers
3) Developing & Coordinating Programs
4) Evaluating Programs

If one, or all, of these topics speak to you please contact us for further information! Your support will truly have an impact strengthening the independence of these RCBOs.
