This position supports the National Headquarters (NHQ) Fund Development (FD) team. This position will assist the National Research & Insight Team in fundraising research work, data maintenance, analysis and special projects.
Depending on skills, time availability and interests of volunteer:
- Support research project work, including projects to support disaster fundraising, tracking complex donations, leveraging Red Cross influencers and improving donor contact information
- Use online tools to research and document Red Cross supporter information for use in growing the organization's relationship with them
- Track use and success of completed research
- Identify regional staff involved in donor research and establish regular "cohort calls" to provide resources, support and coordination for their work
- Assist in the administrative duties of the national research unit
