Looking for volunteer opportunities? LSP Trailblazers focus on removing invasive weeds and vines from the Richard J. Sullivan Natural Area and general trail maintenance to improve habitat. We will meet at the Nature Center located at 275 Freedom Way, Jersey City, NJ 07305.
This program is recommended for adults and families with children ages 10 and older. Children must be accompanied by an adult for the duration of the event. Groups of more than six, please contact us first.

Description
Located on the southern shores of the New York/New Jersey Harbor Estuary, Liberty State Park is significant as both a natural and historic cultural resource. The park provides numerous opportunities for visitors to enjoy and learn about nature in an otherwise predominantly urban setting.

- We recommend that you wear dress to be outdoors, wear sturdy shoes, and bring work gloves if you have them. Gloves and tools will be provided. Bringing water is also recommended.
