ORGANIZATION: Special Olympics Southern California

Special Olympics Southern California’s (SOSC) vision is to promote acceptance, inclusion, and well-being for people with intellectual disabilities through sports. Our athletes discover new strengths and abilities, skills, and success - on the playing field and in life.

As the world's largest sports organization for people with intellectual disabilities, Special Olympics supports 4.4 million athletes in 170 countries.

In Southern California, we support over 7,500 athletes. We are looking for volunteers to join our Ventura team's efforts in putting on quality sport competitions.

Multiple volunteer opportunities offer flexibility for concentrating on recruiting other volunteers or keeping projects moving in the Kern office based on current project needs.
