ORGANIZATION: Jewish Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Boston

  • 13 people are interested

Be a mentor to a teen girl! Sara is a young teen looking for a Big Sister who can gossip with her about crushes, get manicures, go to the movies, do arts and crafts projects, and talk about music. Sara loves going on walks and being active outdoors. Sara lives with a single father who is learning to navigate what it's like to raise a growing teenage daughter by himself. Her dad wants Sara to have a Big Sister she can relate to and enjoy. Sara is friendly, sweet, kind and can be introverted at times. She is very excited to get a Big Sister and hopes to be matched with someone who is fun and there for her when she needs to talk.

Volunteers must be at least 21 and be able to commit to seeing Sara a couple of hours, two times a month, mostly on the weekends and make at least a year commitment. Jewish and non-Jewish applicants welcome!
