Fall Cutting
We cut invasive shrubs and trees to restore the conditions for healthy nature.

Join the Spring Creek Stewards Sunday at 12pm for a weekly volunteer stewardship work day!

Each week we'll be working on something new and there are always opportunities to learn more about local ecology, our forest preserves, and meet fellow volunteers! Volunteers meet at the Penny Road Pond parking lot - To get there, take Penny Road west from IL Route 59. After a mile or so, turn south (left) into the gravel parking lot. Register to volunteer here.

Volunteers should arrive prepared for the weather - wearing appropriate layers, sturdy close-toed shoes or boots. We will provide all required tools, water, and snacks.

Contact peter@fotfp.org with any questions.
