Franke Tobey Jones retirement community is looking for volunteers to help our assisted living residents with activities. The activities would be run by the Activity Coordinator with your assistance.

• Every Monday afternoon from 1:30 pm until 4 pm. One volunteer needed. You would need to be able to assist the coordinator with hands-on projects in cooking, arts and crafts.
• Every Tuesday afternoon from 1:45 pm until 3:15 pm, one person to host Tea Time. serve residents tea and cookies, read short stories, poems, and lead conversations on appropriate topics.
• Every Friday afternoon from 3:45 pm until 4:15 pm, one person to help welcome residents and serve Happy Hour drinks and snacks.

Volunteers may choose to work only once a month if they choose, keeping sure they volunteer the same week every month so other volunteers can be scheduled accordingly.

Volunteers need to be comfortable around a senior population. You will be taught how to interact appropriately with Assisted Living residents. Training and level of observation skills will be provided. All materials and instruction would be provided for all activities.
