ORGANIZATION: Positive Coaching Alliance

Coaching Corps Logo

Hi Coach,

Thank you for pursuing impactful ways to serve your community as a volunteer sports coach! There are several teams in the San Fernando Valley who could truly benefit from your support. The best way to get started is for you to head to our website: https://www.coachingcorps.org and click "Become a Coach." You will be able to view the teams in your neighborhood and the sports they are playing. Fill out your coach profile to be granted access to our Coaches Corner where you can view the team details including age group, schedule, and the organization in need of your support.

This winter, youth sports basketball, soccer and volleyball teams are in need of coaches in the San Fernando Valley.

Once you select the team that works best, you will be asked to take our online coach training course to equip you with the principles of sports-based youth development before you step onto your respective court or field. As soon as the training is complete, you will be connected to your coaching site. Most coaches begin as an assistant coach to get a better understanding of the organization’s culture of play and your role as a coach and mentor.

Please let me know if you have any questions along the way, or would like to get connected to a team directly. I hope to be the bridge for you to mentor and coach deserving young athletes soon!

Thank you for transforming lives through sport!
