ENGin is looking for teenagers and young adults to lead English practice sessions for small groups of international students. This is a super-flexible and unique opportunity to make a difference without leaving your room. You should be fully fluent in English and at least 16 years old to participate.

Here's how it works:
- You will lead 1 hourlong session/week (or more, if you'd like). You'll work with 3-7 students at a time.
- We provide all the materials and activities
- Sessions happen on Zoom. We take care of all logistics and technology.

IMPORTANT: Our students are located in Ukraine (7 hours ahead of NYC and 10 hours ahead of California), so all sessions are scheduled in the mornings or early afternoons US time to account for time zone differences.

To get started, please email katerina@enginprogram.org with your availability (days/times and time zone), why you're interested in this opportunity, and any prior relevant experience.

About ENGin

Location:

Mission Statement

ENGin Ukrainian youth with English speakers for free online conversation practice and cross-cultural connection. We're helping a generation of Ukrainian youth improve their spoken English and intercultural skills, equipping them to access academic and professional opportunities.

Description

Our program was founded to fill a major gap in English-language education in Ukraine: while many Ukrainians study English grammar and vocabulary in school, few have access to high-quality, affordable opportunities to practice the essential skill of speaking.

ENGin allows volunteers to make an impact without leaving their rooms while also expanding their cultural horizons. We work with volunteers ages 14+; the commitment starts at 1 hour/week
