The purpose of the Critical Care Ambassador at Olathe Medical Center is to provide a warm, compassionate area for families of patients in our Critical Care Unit. Duties include, but are not limited to, making fresh coffee, keeping the waiting areas clean and tidy, providing patient location information and helping make the families stay with us as comfortable as possible.

Description
Olathe Health Ambassadors, what we like to call our volunteers, work in both clinical and non-clinical areas. Their talents are used at information desks, reception areas, patient registration, surgery family room, business offices, hospice care, and the Gift Shops - just to name a few. They also help with special projects such as Community Blood Drives and fundraising events.
At Olathe Health, our Ambassadors and staff work together to make each patient's stay as comfortable as possible.
