NYC Volunteer Program Director
Moms for Moms, NYC is looking for a New York City based Volunteer Program Director.
Who We Are: Founded in the Spring of 2014, Moms for Moms is a registered 501(c)3 nonprofit supporting single mothers in need. As one of New York’s only nonprofits aimed directly at assisting single mothers, it has provided hundreds of women at shelters, safe houses, churches and more with the items they need most after the birth of a child. Diapers, wipes, clothing, strollers, cribs, feminine care products and post-natal essentials are among the many items Moms for Moms distributes through its monthly care packages.
What We Need: Are you a mom looking to give back to other moms? Specifically, to women at what is perhaps the most vulnerable time in their lives and in the new lives they’ve created? If so, we need you! The NYC Program director will help manage daily operations, assist with donations and deliveries, act as a liaison with the Executive Director, work with interns and volunteers on fundraising, events and marketing, and support the overall mission of the organization.
The Program Director is currently a part-time volunteer position with the ability to work remotely when possible.
