Reading Buddies are volunteers that help students develop their reading skills and love for reading.

Reading Buddies will meet with students every Monday during lunch. The lunch times are below:

  • 10:50am-11:35am: 5th Grade Lunch
  • 11:40am-12:25pm: 6th Grade Lunch
  • 12:30pm-1:!5pm: 7th Grade Lunch
  • 1:20pm-2:05pm: 8th Grade Lunch
Volunteers are welcome to pick one lunch or several lunches!

Description

Freedom City is starting a lunch mentoring program at Douglass High School in Oklahoma City. The lunch mentoring program will provide positive adult role models for high school students during lunch. The presence of positive adult role models will help the students express their feelings and develop relationships with supportive adults.
