Task: Native plantings, litter pick up, invasive species removal!
No experience necessary! Wear long thick pants, a long-sleeved shirt and sturdy shoes. Bring a water bottle, rain gear, warm clothes and a sunhat. Instruction, tools, gloves, water, coffee/tea and snacks provided. Children welcome, and must be accompanied by an attentive adult.
Meet at: SE 45th & SE Tenino Dr. (Tenino Dr. is a dirt road.) Please be aware not to block neighbor’s driveways. Look for event signs for exact meeting location.
Tri-met bus: #75 will drop you off at SE 45th & Tenino Dr.
Bike/Walk on the Springwater Corridor trail: www.PortlandOregon.gov/parks/springwatermap. Exit trail at the SE 45th St. entrance and then ride a short distance up 45th to Tenino Dr.

Description
The Johnson Creek Watershed Council was formed in 1994 to fill the need for a single organization which could have the entire watershed as its focus. The JCWC provides an important opportunity for community members to participate in enhancing the resource that flows through their neighborhoods and communities. In 2001, the Council became a 501(c)3 non-profit.
