Hi Coach,

Thank you for pursuing impactful ways to serve your community as a volunteer sports coach! There are several teams in Baltimore who could truly benefit from your support. The best way to get started is for you to head to our website: click "Become a Coach." You will be able to view the teams in your neighborhood and the sports they are playing. Fill out your coach profile to be granted access to our Coaches Corner where you can view the team details including age group, schedule, and the organization in need of your support.

Once you select the team that works best, you will be asked to take our online coach training course to equip you with the principles of sports-based youth development before you step onto your respective court or field. As soon as the training is complete, you will be connected to your coaching site. Most coaches begin as an assistant coach to get a better understanding of the organization’s culture of play and your role as a coach and mentor. Bemore Athletic League is looking for Middle School Basketball Coaches Now!

Please let me know if you have any questions along the way, or would like to get connected to a team directly. I hope to be the bridge for you to mentor and coach deserving young athletes soon!

Thank you for transforming lives through sport!,

Mission Statement

Coaching Corps improves the health, educational and social outcomes for kids living in struggling communities through the power of service and sports.

We believe that all children, regardless of where they live, should have access to the powerful experience of learning and growing through sports. Studies prove sports make kids healthier, more confident and more successful in school, but, unfortunately, kids growing up in low-income neighborhoods are often left sitting on the sidelines. Girls growing up in these communities are even more likely to be left out of the game. Our amazing team works hard to level the playing field so that every kid has a chance to play and grow.
