HOLISTIC RIDING EQUESTRIAN THERAPY (HRET) is passionately committed to empowering the lives of individuals with varied physical, emotional, cognitive, and social abilities through the spirit of the horse! HRET offers a variety of skill appropriate classes meeting the needs of riders from preschoolers on our ponies to independent riders on our program safe horses. We teach both mounted, unmounted, and farm experience classes.
We need volunteers who will act as a side walker (walking next to the rider at all times), lead the horse, help with the morning farm experience classes, or help in various other admin positions. This is a rewarding experience for everyone involved. Please consider joining our organization as the more volunteers we have, the more participants we can teach! You do NOT need experience with horses to volunteer!
We have evening riding classes and we have morning group classes. Morning classes consist of both riding and a "farm experience" portion.
****Training is required to be PATH Intl (Professional Assoc. of Therapeutic Horsemanship) compliant.

Sunday, February 9th from 1:30-4:30pm (Arrive at 1:15 for sign in)
Saturday, March 7th from 12:30-3:30pm (Arrive at 12:15 for sign in)

Mission Statement
HRET is passionately committed to empowering the lives of individuals with varied physical, emotional, cognitive, and social abilities through the spirit of the horse. HRET offers a variety of skill appropriate classes meeting the needs of preschoolers on our ponies to independent riders on our program safe horses. We are an equine assisted services (EAS) program that provides horse and pony therapeutic riding and activities. Our classes are approximately an hour long and incorporate grooming and bonding time with horses or ponies, in addition to riding.
Description
HOLISTIC RIDING EQUESTRIAN THERAPY (HRET) PROGRAM is designed to improve the quality of life physically, emotionally, and socially for individuals with varied abilities, as well as veterans. HRET offers a variety of skill appropriate classes meeting the needs of preschoolers on our ponies to independent riders on our horses. We also offer a farm experience program for groups, as well as summer camps, field trips and special events.
