Absolute Hospice provides comfort, care and compassion to those we serve through the final season of life. We provide support to patients with life-limiting illness, their families and loved ones, while empowering them to live with dignity and comfort as they cope with issues during and after the final season of life.

Hospice volunteers provide assistance and support to our patients in many ways, both directly and indirectly. The Administrative Volunteer will work in the office to provide assistance to the team behind the scenes.

Duties include: filing, assisting with mailings, assembling admission packets, sorting supplies and other administrative activities.

Why become a hospice volunteer? Hospice volunteers are a crucial part of the hospice team and report feeling that they are making a contribution to the community and doing a service they hope others would do for them in their time of need. Administrative volunteers perform important activities that support the efforts of the staff in the field who care for our patients.

Training and orientation are provided to help all volunteers feel comfortable in their roles, No healthcare experience is needed.

Time commitment: Administrative volunteers are needed during normal business hours, Monday - Friday. The specific days and times are up to you. Even a few hours a month would make a big difference and help Absolute Hospice provide comfort, care and compassion to our patients.
