Plant native trees along Burnt Bridge Creek to restore the habitat for fish and wildlife! All ages and abilities welcome. Fun for groups, families and individuals.

We provide: Tools, gloves, hot cocoa, coffee and snacks.

What to bring: Water bottle and travel mug.

What to wear: Close-toed shoes and dress for the weather.

What to expect: Estuary Partnership staff will check in volunteers, distribute gloves and tools. A staff member will demonstrate planting techniques and discuss safety. Volunteers will be planting for approximately 2 1/2 hours.

To improve the lower Columbia River by protecting and restoring nature and clean water for current and future generations of fish, wildlife and people.

Description

The Lower Columbia Estuary Partnership is a non-profit, a National Estuary Program, and a collection of dedicated scientists, educators, and community members who are passionate about the Columbia River.

We focus on the lower 146 miles of the Columbia River, from Bonneville Dam to the Pacific Ocean, including the tidally influenced portions of tributaries in that area. The watershed includes 28 cities, nine counties, and 45 school districts within the states of Oregon and Washington.
