Myanna's Heart is a local non-profit organization which supports children recovering from open-heart surgeries by providing them with toys and other supplies.
I had the pleasure of meeting both Myanna and Sheri, the founders of Myanna's heart during one of our Thanksgiving dinners to support low income elderly people. It was great to finally meet them and share some ideas about helping one another achieve our respective missions.
Over the past few months, Barbera Foundation has been able to raise about $1,000. This money will be used to purchase toys for Myanna's heart and will ultimately be delivered to local children at local hospitals. On 12/14, we will be shopping for toys in Sterling, VA with Myanna and Sheri and we need your help! Come on out and purchase some toys for kiddos in need!
Note: Ticket sales for this volunteering opportunity will go towards purchasing the toys along with supporting the admin/overhead expenses of the Barbera Foundation. Each ticketholder will be able to purchase $100 worth of toys. (Toy purchases from Barbera Foundation funds)

I n order to accomplish this mission, Barbera Foundation organizes a wide variety of events that unite people from all walks of life. From delivering care packages of food and supplies to the homeless and preparing Thanksgiving dinner for those less fortunate during the holiday season, to supporting underprivileged kids with books and school supplies, Barbera Foundation strives to improve the lives of those in need to make the community as a whole, a better place for everyone.
The success of the Barbera Foundation relies 100% on volunteer and donor contributions. As a result, we need YOUR help!
