Volunteer Courier-

The Arkansas Blood Institute is currently searching for a Volunteer Courier(s) to assist with services in the Little Rock area. The position is assigned to both the Blood Product Services and Facilities Management departments. Expected duties are described below:

Blood Product Services (BPS) Duties will include:
- Relay blood products and/or supplies and equipment to other couriers in supply chain.
- Pick-up and return of blood products and/or equipment and supplies from community based blood drives.
- Relaying blood products and/or supplies and equipment to/from Flights for Life Courier Pilots.
- Completing appropriate documentation and inspection of fleet vehicles upon assignment.

Facilities Management Duties will include:
- Cleaning and inspection of fleet vehicles.
- Delivery and return of fleet vehicles to service providers for maintenance.
- Relaying supplies and equipment to Little Rock area donor centers and processing facilities.
- Completing appropriate documentation and inspection of fleet vehicles upon assignment.

*** Driving record and criminal background check are required. A CDL is NOT required. No direct contact with blood products.***
