Serving Wisconsin for more than 170 years, Ascension is a faith-based healthcare organization committed to delivering compassionate, personalized care to all, with special attention to persons living in poverty and those most vulnerable. As the needs of our community grow so does our need for volunteers.

We are looking for enthusiastic and energetic volunteers who want to stay active and have fun. A four-hour shift once a week is ideal. We are looking for a 6 month to one year commitment.

As a volunteer you can bring others much needed hope and happiness. Nothing feels as good as a warm smile, calming conversation or assistance when you need it. You can give that kind of encouragement and support to people of all ages when you give your time as a volunteer. You'll brighten someone's day - and yours in turn.

Listed below are some of our volunteer opportunities:

Fremont Tower Patient Unit Volunteer Ambassador - Volunteers greet family and visitors and welcome them to the unit. They assist with way finding and serve as a resource for the hospital and community information. Volunteers assist on the unit providing non-patient care hospitality services.

Information Desk: Welcome Center- Volunteers greet and provide general information and escort or wheelchair transport to visitors and patients. They are often the first and last contact a person may have at St. Elizabeth Hospital.

Volunteer assignments are matched to your individual talents and interests!

It’s easy to get started - consider volunteering today and sharing this with a friend!
