The Diabetes Research Institute at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine leads the world in cure-focused research.
The Diabetes Research Institute Foundation is the organization of choice for those who are serious, passionate and committed to curing diabetes.
Volunteers play an important role at our walk and we are delighted to have you.
We will have several positions available : T-shirt/food/water distribution, route marking, greeters, set-up/break-up.
Attire: Dress comfortably and appropriately for the weather (bring sunscreen/hat or rain gear) closed toe shoes, workout clothes, khakis/black-shorts/pants/capris etc.
We look forward to seeing you and Thank You for helping us make this event a success!
Please note community hours will be given at the end of the shift.

The Diabetes Research Institute leads the world in cure-focused diabetes research. As one of the largest and most comprehensive research centers dedicated to curing diabetes, the DRI is aggressively working to develop a biological cure for diabetes by restoring natural insulin production and normalizing blood sugar levels without imposing other risks.
