We are searching for front desk volunteers to assist with guest services tasks including:
- Calling guests to confirm check-in requirements
- Assisting with guest check ins and check outs
- Answering the telephone and opening the secured door for guests/visitors by pushing a button to buzz in guests/visitors,
- Addressing general guest related needs during their stay
- Other tasks as needed (ex. paperwork tasks, thank you cards, making bags of toiletries for guests, etc.
Most volunteers commit to one shift per week or one shift every other week. However, substitute volunteers are regularly needed and we can be flexible regarding scheduling needs. Shifts are 9am-1pm, 1-5pm & 5-9pm.
Please note that an application, references and a background screening are required for Rathbun House volunteers.
