During these uncertain times, how can we help?
See below to access our COVID-19 Resource Hub, and to explore our growing directory of COVID-19-specific and virtual volunteering opportunities.
Do you love to sew? Can you bring your sewing machine with you to projects? Share your passion for sewing and help heal grieving hearts as a volunteer with Heartland Hospice! A memory pillow sewn by a volunteer with compassion and love is a forever friend for someone grieving the death of a loved one who was a Heartland patient.
Sewn from a favorite pair of jeans, a pullover top, dress, bathrobe, or nightgown, a memory pillow or memory bear may recall the closeness of a loved one, bring a smile to someone in distress, or offer a sense of security to a child who feels alone after the loss of a parent or sibling.
This a great way you can give back to the community, and make the biggest difference in someone's life!
