Open a Wildlife Corridior at Bitter Creek

ORGANIZATION: Habitat Works

Open a Wildlife Corridor

Wild game, that lives and dies naturally, is an essential source of carrion for endangered California Condors at Bitter Creek, a National Wildlife Refuge set aside as critical habitat for their recovery.

Join us in opening a wildlife corridor, allowing large game freedom to roam the Refuge and access their historic foraging areas.

We'll spend the day removing or modifying abandoned barbed-wire fencing, followed by our famous community feast and optional campout on the refuge.

Bring sturdy boots, warm layers, lunch and something to share at the community feast.
