The Literacy Department is searching for a volunteer English Language class tutor to begin an English Language class for non-native speakers at the Indio Library Mondays from 6:00 am - 7:30 pm. Volunteer will receive training and support from the Literacy Department as well as in-class mentoring time. No experience is required except an excellent command of the English language.

- An initial 1-hour interview of candidate will be held. Then, about 4-6 hours of ESL mentoring over a span of 2-3 weeks. The class commitment will be 2 hours of in-class time per week with about 1-2 hours of prep time for a total of 3-4 hours/week.
