Missions Research Analyst - Task Description: The majority of this role will be in support of our weekly Mission's Monday Highlight & Prayer Request post, right now on just Facebook. We see this weekly post as an important piece to fulfilling our mission of providing support and encouragement to those on the front-lines of poverty alleviation.

The specific tasks include researching Christian ministries, both locally and globally, that are serving the poor in some way; sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ in Word and Deed. We use the word 'poor' loosely. It could mean not only poor financially, but also 'poor’ educationally, relationally, mentally, physically, spiritually, etc. This research will be for the purpose of finding possible candidate ministries, outreaches, etc. for our weekly mission's highlight post. This is a new position for us, so most likely, it will adjust and change over time, as needed. We also value your input on how we can make our Mission's Monday Highlight & Prayer Request post better.

What you would do:

Email Social Media Director 1-2 ministries per week with the following information for each:

- Name of Ministry

- Name of leader(s) to contact

- Leaders' contact information

- Ministry's mission and vision statements

- Detailed demographic of who they primarily serve (ie. children, families, the incarcerated, elderly, etc.) and in what ways are these people 'poor’?

- Any specific immediate requests, needs, prayer needs, etc. you see on their website and/or Facebook page

- Are there pictures you see on their website and/or Facebook page that give a visual to the ministry they do?

- Any other pertinent information you feel would help
